Midstates Bank has grown from a humble beginning in 1876 in Western Iowa’s rolling hills, into a modern, progressive financial institution serving Southwest Iowa’s financial needs.  Midstates Bank has grown to  be a $320 million financial services company with over 100 employees.   The locally managed banks are located in Council Bluffs, Avoca, Harlan, Missouri Valley and Mondamin. Midstates also operates financial services, mortgage lending, farm management, trust and investment divisions.
